Personal Bio
Dr Hue Chi Yin (Momoko) is a Lecturer in the Bachelor of Psychology programme, School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Taylor's University, Malaysia. She holds a PhD and Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, together with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Counseling. She has more than seven years of tertiary teaching experience and previously taught upper-primary learners at Dignity for Children Foundation, an experience that continues to shape her interest in equitable and practical approaches to education. She is a co-founder of the Malaysia Educational Psychology Society (MEPS) and currently serves as Vice-Secretary. Her research and teaching interests include educational psychology, working memory and attention, learning and motivation, technology in education, teaching and learning strategies, and the role of music in learning. Her recent work has examined cognitive functioning in school children and the professional roles and support needs of educational psychologists in Malaysia. She has also led and contributed to funded education-related projects and has received awards for teaching and learning innovation and research communication.
