Personal Bio

Richard Peter Bailey is Senior Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His research interests include the philosophies of education and health, sports sciences, and martial arts. He is a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the Akademi Profesor Malaysia, a Member of the Royal Asiatic Society, and he was named an ‘Ikon Pendekar’ (Hall of Famer) for his contributions to Malaysian culture.
